Have it from a good source that a certain member of the Warton team as infilterated the Westgate circle of trust and made an approach to a senior player to go to Warton with certain guarantees regarding their game.
Please be aware this may not be an isloated incident and if anyone else is experiencing such problems please post your story.

Though i did hear they were looking for new ground staff (perhaps looking for a more result wicket, what better place to look)Have they tried too lure a senior pro with the promise of PIE AND PEAS (2 spring to mind) or have they seen MURPHS certificate from CENTRE PARKS CRICKET CAMP i bet he has sent out a CV or even video i wondered what ANGE was doing there???? Perhaps they should take a leaf from PERCY THROWER and GROW YOUR BLOODY OWN???????????

Dont see why you would need to approach any players you are champions and keeping the same side will be fine surely. You achieved well above expectations last year as one of your senior players was not even going to play last year as you lacked ambition and did not have the team to win it was one of his quotes? Its fine if you want to approach players from other clubs we dont have contracts etc but when its mentioned dont deny it all, like there will be a mass 2 page spread on back of lANCASTER GUARDIAN. All clubs are just protecting there interests and rightly so.
This TED guy who is he do you mean PHIL thought he was off to PRESTON having impressed in the BIG POND with his fellow BIG FISH!! It would be a great shame to loose such a high profile player from our league. A player who its great to play against a great ambassador for cricket in our league and im sure someone who encourages the younger lads at a club where he is looked up at. Is there any truth in the rumour CREEDY has moved closer to either MILNTHORPE or WARTON by getting job at paper mill therefore cutting down on travel time for a saturday. Could be a big signing for one of the big 2 this and perhaps a big loss. Heard there is plenty of tapping up in the brew room. Though would that count as poaching, idol chit chat over a FONDANT FANCY and a cup of LEMON TEA??????
Another hot off the press tip is that GOULD is thinking of throwing the towel in at WARTON as the travel is too much and is been lined up as a replacement for another cross batted hoiker at SHIRES (cant think of his name now??????)
