HCC Club News

this season i was thinking of using this website for all the senior stats.
what do the members think,please feel free to have a look at this site,many of you will be familiar with it,i let me know what you think.
i am certain this will cut down on the mistakes that have been made in the past by yours truly

currently this site is not certain to remain online as the hosting was supplied gratis by shanes old work, they've just not noticed since he left.

We've got a spot at drupalgardens.com booked when the beta codes get released, but until then probably best to the stats externally.

it has been suggested by Clubmark,and Barrie is the admin of it,so i will run both sites stats and see how it goes,
it will not do amy harm,and they are two seperate websites.so its up to individuals as to what they want to look at.
I am a member of a couple of clubs on play cricket. i used to play for them in years gone by,and it is great to look at what they are doing week in and week out,on this excellent site.
i have seen Shaynes attempts to get it started,it was a shame he could not have carried on

What will drupalgardens look like, can we transfer what we've got across to it or do we start again?
The play cricket webites are great for stats, there is a lot of information there but they can all look the same. I've a couple of mates at work who swear by their play cricket sites.
I'll take your (and ken's) advice as to where we should move?
Will there still be a forum ??

just a place for the site to live

drupalgardens is a place for the site to live, can look how we want it too and have the normal features you expect, forums, user editing.

it's a free service (at least for the kind of traffic we see) and allows for much easier developments, such as galleries, videos and some automation of the stats for ken, problem is it's only just coming out of testing so got to wait until I get an invite to use it.

think the play cricket thing is a good idea for now as this could disappear anytime now (got the vast majority of it backed up if it does) and not sure when the invite will come. can reassess when it does.
