The South Lakes Branch of the Cricket Umpires Association are holding a pre-season refresher course on Sunday 28th March at Warton Cricket Club, 10.30am to 4pm. This course is open to current umpires, anyone considering taking up umpiring or anyone with an interest in cricket. Lunch is provided. I think it should be, will make our game a lot less frustrating, and should hopefully make for less dubious decisions.

I also think the umpires do a great job,i myself did the job,and can really appreciate what they have to put up with.I also made many good friends over the years.I agree with you Peter its not allways adviseable to put your feelings into print,you really never know who is reading them.....kjc
